I'm Ready to Start!!!
Tomorrow I start the new diet! The 100!! I will weigh in tomorrow instead of Tuesday so I have a starting point. I will switch back to Tuesday next week. My weight was good this morning but I did eat Pizza this evening, since I won't be having any on this diet. Probably not the best idea, but I just wanted to have a little. It was thin crust and I didn't have much.
My goals for this week:
Eat according to the Diet Plan for The 100.
Work out 3 days with my Kettle Bell
Work in My Garden
Have Lots of Fun!!
Plans For Summer:
Go to College Orientation With My Son
Get Him Moved Into College In August
Genealogy Research
Travel to the Places Where My Grandparents Were Born
Go to Lots of Baseball Games and Swim Meets With My Grandsons
What Makes Me Smile:
My 10 year old grandson went to St. Louis for the weekend for a baseball tournament. They brought back the championship!!!
What Inspires Me:
My Garden
My Family
Being Healthy
I am linking up with several hops today! I will be around to see all of you soon!
good luck on your new plan!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gwen!!
DeleteI wish you the best on your new plan... I'm excited to be on this path too.. we CAN do it;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, we can! Let's do this!!!
DeleteHi Betty - so nice to meet you - coming by because you left a sweet message on one of my posts - and like what I see so am now your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to lose a " gut " in 7 days for my daughter's wedding - talk about a procrastinator LMHO
Have a wonderful Monday!

Wow!! I wish you luck! Seven days isn't going to be easy. Maybe you should just enjoy the wedding and lose it after all the hoopla is over. Congrats to your daughter!!
DeleteI just looked up the 100 diet plan - looks absolutely the same as how I lost my weight but under another name. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHey, I guess that's good then! If you lost your weight on it, it must be a good diet.
DeleteOh and you will be able to have pizza on your new plan - there are many pizza recipes that are low carb. I have some on my recipe page although I'm not sure what foods you will be allowed.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out your recipe page. The diet is a little limited for the first four weeks and then you get to work out a little more of your own as long as you stay under the 100 sugar calories. If it's low carb, it should work.
DeleteHi Betty! You GO FOR IT girl!!! I can't wait to see how you do! Most of all, have fun with it!
ReplyDelete:-) Marion
You know, Marion, I always try to find a way to have fun. Life is too short to not have fun along the way. Thanks for all the encouragement!
DeleteAwesome! I really need to get a kettle bell and try it out! Thanks for linkin gup with us!
ReplyDeleteTiff @ The Fit Train
I love the kettle bell. You can get such a fantastic workout. You really should give it a try.
DeleteGood luck on your new plan! I've always wanted to to try a kettle bell workout.
ReplyDeleteYou should give it a try! It is a hard workout, but you can work your whole body in a short time.
DeleteCongratulations to your grandson! You are going to have a busy summer. Good luck on the new diet!
ReplyDeleteThanks, he was really excited! I have come to the realization that my life will always be busy. At least, at long as my health allows it. I like having lots to do.
DeleteCollege orientation is big time. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck w/your plan.
Pizza's my huge huge huge 'what's too hard to give up entirely' thing.
Yes, I haven't been emotional about him moving away yet. I hope I can make it through with just being happy for him and the fact that he is growing up.
DeletePizza is hard for me to give up. When I got down to a size 4 before I allowed my self pizza on Friday evening for dinner. I just tried to be reasonable about the amount I ate.
Kettle bells with Bob? HELL YES! Please let me know how you like it :) I have the Jillian one with the actual bell set.
ReplyDeleteI love the kettle bell! I haven't down the workouts with Bob yet. I haven't seen the set with Jillian. I bet she is a slave driver!
DeleteGood luck with the new plan Betty, you can do this!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We can do this together!
DeleteGood luck!!! I'm working on dropping more weight and toning up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and good luck to you to! I think all the support we all give each other is fantastic!
DeleteGood luck, Betty! I'm sure you can make it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Petro!!!
DeleteThis is awesome Betty! Love your plans for this summer, where is your son going to college? My son will be leaving next year for college. Saw that you're also taking in some baseball, too. Love baseball, spending 4th of July at the ballpark.
ReplyDeleteMy son is going to Indiana University. Are you ready for your son to take off? We all love baseball. My son played travel ball for years. Now my grandson is playing travel so that keeps us busy. If Indiana University had stayed in the College World Series we probably would have headed to Omaha this weekend. Alas, no such luck. We go to some major league games occasionally.
DeleteI have a kettle bell and love it :) It's great excercise! I was bad about going to my college orientation, I worked while I was an undergrad so I had them sign off that I couldn't go. I wasn't a typical college student though, so I wasn't really who orientation was geared at :)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!! I can't wait to see the results!! :o)
