Can you believe it! It got to 63 degrees today. After the weather we have had recently that is just a dream. The sun was shining. Yesterday got to around mid-50's but it was cloudy by afternoon.
My husband, son and I went to Red Lobster for lunch. I had a couple of the rolls. They were small. I couldn't resist. On the way home I told my husband, "I have to get outside today. I'm going to call a friend and see if she wants to walk."
I called before I got home and asked a friend if she was available to get outside and walk today. We had the best time. Walking and talking and enjoying the beautiful day. After we had walked for awhile, she said she was tired and was I done. I wasn't ready but I said okay. She said I think I can go a little longer and we went for quite a while longer. Then we went and got something to drink and sat and talked for a while. She said she was glad she had continued walking. She felt really good about getting in a long walk.

Visiting you back from the blog hop. What a nice post. It's so hard to keep weight off. I lost 25 lbs last fall and then put it all back on this winter. sigh.
ReplyDeleteHmmm that sounds like a good day, and I love Red Lobster!
ReplyDeleteI am visiting you back from the blog hop :)
Hi Betty. Thank you for visiting my blog. It is indeed difficult to resist food. I am struggling to discipline myself in this department. After gaining 10kg from my second pregnancy, losing weight is a bit harder. But I am determined. Let's take one step at a time. It's a gradual process, and not an overnight thing.
ReplyDeleteI have cabin fever in the worst way - bring on spring.
ReplyDeleteI love going for long walks! With this wonderful weather, it's so nice to get outside and enjoy the fresh air!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up at the Harvest of Friends Weekend Blog Hop!
I love going on walks. That has been a great experience about living in the UK for the past 3 years. Everyone walks so you feel like you need to get out there and join the fun. Wow, I am jealous of your warm weather as I look out at the snow.
ReplyDeleteI love walks! I wish that spring would arrive soon around here, it has been cold this week and I am so ready for sunshine :)
