Day 9, Thursday: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)
That pile of mulch and the pile of dirt behind it has been very important in my days this week. I have been been moving those piles to different areas of my yard.
I moved about 30 some wheel barrow's full of mulch yesterday. I moved mulch and some dirt today. I also dug and cleaned out some more of my flower beds.
I'm really surprised I can still walk. When I move that full wheel barrow up to the flower beds, I have to move it uphill a little ways. I am getting my exercise this week.
As you can see by the large pile still remaining, I will be at this a few more days.
Sore calves and hamstrings?

DeleteGreat way to get a workout in! We have been doing some yard work. But with the rain, we have slowed down. :)

ReplyDeleteI love the feeling of accomplishment. My yard is looking better, I am getting exercise and I love the work, except when my back hurts. It's wet out again today, so have a day to get rested up a little.
DeleteOh my gosh, those first couple of days in the yard leave me so sore I can barely walk the third day. but I love it. :)

I love the work, it might not hurt to have a little help moving the mulch though. I think I am too picky to let other people do much.
