Ready for Fall!
I bought this tray last year or the year before. I liked it, but I thought it was a little plain. I decided to use my Cricut die-cutting machine to decorate it.
I found a design I liked and sized it. I then got some black vinyl and cut it out.
I cut the design out and used transfer tape to move it to the tray. I smoothed out the air bubbles and my tray was finished. I think I paid about $4.00 for the tray and about $.75 for the vinyl.
I checked for more trays at Walmart recently and they have a new design this year. They sell for $7.95 for this year's design.
I bet you could do lots of things with these trays.
That is so cute! I do not have a Cricut, but I keep seeing so many cute projects done with one that I may have to look into it! :) Happy fall!
ReplyDeleteI love my Cricut! I actually have two of them. One large one and one small one. I use them for scrapbooking and crafts. My two friends have them two and we get together and have a great time.
DeleteThanks Amy! Yes, I have a scrapbook addiction. I would have more time if I wasn't spending so much time blogging and working on social media. I love keeping busy! I'm sure you do too!
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea to change it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteI don't change for the seasons... I am not very crafty... lol :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tray Betty :)
The tray looks fab and the vinyl machine looks complicated :/ I made my wedding centrepieces with the acorns I collected, pop over and have a look :) Karis
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the tray! Here in Jamaica we do not really change decorations for Fall but it is a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteThe tray is gorgeous...such a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteLove your tray!! I don't decorate until at least October as it is still summer for several months yet here in Tropical Florida. Our leaves turn in January!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBetty, what a great project. It most definitely took the tray from plain to exciting. Thank you for co-hosting the Four Seasons Party and sharing!!
