Quotes about life
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Buddha
I am supposed to write about the 3 Greatest Moments of My Life. I have had so many great moments, I plan to have many more. I think the greatest moment of my life is the present.
The most memorable moments in my life are the births of my four children, watching my three children graduate from college, my daughter graduate from medical school, seeing my daughter walk down the aisle in her wedding gown, and seeing my grandsons for the first time.
I look forward to seeing my youngest son graduate from college in a few years, and I hope to see more grandchildren.
I have had some memorable times in my life, viewing the city of Paris from the upper level of the Eiffel Tower, standing at the top of the Swiss Alps, walking the beaches in Hawaii, looking down into the Grand Canyon, and every moment I have spent in Paris.
Those are times I will remember forever, but they don't even compare with the special moments with my children.
Do you have some great moments in your life? What made them great? Are there any Quotes About Life that speak to you?

Our children are the focus of our lives. They bring me joy, along with heartache when things aren't perfect for them.

DeleteHave you ever been over here to England? This summer was nice, back to rain today though! :(
ReplyDeleteYes, I was England last November. I was also there 20 years ago. I loved it! I would return again if I had the chance. My best friend's son lived there a few years ago and he just returned to live there again this month. She went to visit him there and was supposed to be there 2 weeks and she had to stay a month bacause of the volcano eruption that shut down Europe.

I never made a 1/2 marathon. A 10K was the most I could do when I was younger. My daughter is training for a 1/2 marathon right now.

DeleteThere's truly nothing like our children's births. What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteSo true! I think a mother also thinks of her children first.
DeleteSeems like you've had a good life so far, with many wonderful moments. Traveling, having children and seeing them grow into great adults, grandchildren etc, you're blessed. Now, I'm sure you can't wait to see your great-grand children do the same thing?
ReplyDeleteContinue to embrace every moment of life mate, because we don't have control over tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I really have always felt blessed! I had a rough few years when I lost my brother, my father, and my husband within a very short time, but our lives continue and we need to make the best of them.
